I am excited to host my annual C.E.O.’s of Tomorrow Youth Conference (Careers-Entrepreneurship-Opportunities) which will be held in District 4. The C.E.O’s of Tomorrow Youth Conference is designed to help youth “Talk, Think, and Take Action” to overcome the challenges and socioeconomic barriers they are facing in their lives. The conference will address Entrepreneurship, Team building strategies and working successfully with others to achieve goals, Recognizing life situations or temptations that can derail future success, and Careers and leadership options in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, arts, film, music, and fashion. Students will experience a series of interactive workshops, exhibits, and panel discussions designed to teach them how to achieve success. There will be 300 high school students from Atlanta Public Schools, Fulton County Schools, and Private and Charter Schools attending this conference. Our goal is to inspire and inform teens so that they will be better prepared to lead. We can all attest to the fact we are at a turning point in our communities with regard to how we nurture our youth and this conference will help us build confident and successful citizens.
